Predimensioning
?
Predimensioning mode automatically finds a possible geometry (number of rows, tubes per row, serpentines and width) that satisfies a target outlet temperature and a maximum tube-side pressure drop. Prediction mode (normal): you supply the full geometry and the calculator returns temperatures, heat duty and pressure drops. Predimensioning mode: you supply only the fluid conditions and constraints (T_out target, ΔP limit) and the calculator proposes a geometry that fulfils the conditions.
